Im not sure about all of this but I posted a similar question and one replier said that CL9 rims have an offset of +55.

    http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...-fit-an-06-CL9

So for your +38 rims there is a difference of -17 which means that the outer rim edge will stick out by 17mm further than the original CL9 rims. Furthermore since CL9 rims would either be 16x6.5 or 17x7 (depending on whether you have the luxury model or not) so your 8 inch wide rims will also mean they stick out further from the side plane of the car.

Though Im new to all of this so Im not sure if Im correct. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will answer this question soon.

18x8.5 +30 with a 205/40 on the front and a 215/40 on the back. Thats about the equivalent of a 18x8 +22 or so. heaps of space

    18 x 8.0+ 35 205 / 40 front 18 x 9.0+35 215 / 40 rear

i dont think youyre gonna have any problems.
