    Post HIDs on Standard Euro

    Hey guys,
Recently i installed HIDs on my base model CU2. The wiring didn't fit the low beam wiring so i had to use the high beam plug instead, now everytime i use my headlights i need to flick it to high beam.

Wondering if anyone else have installed HIDs on a standard CU2 and how did you install it?

Ummm, of course if you connected them to your high beam circuit that will happen... ?!?!? Of course this means you'd have no high beam either...

If the wiring didn't fit the low beam wiring, then you bought the wrong 'kit' for your car.

Your options now are to - a) Buy the correct kit to suit your low beam wiring ...
or b) splice into your wiring harness and effectively hard wire your kit to your car.

apparently you cant install HIDs on a standard euro because of different wiring to the luxury model. I was googleing this and someone said it costs 3.5k to install the wiring just for HIDs
so now i dont have high beam...

Hang on a minute... did you buy a PnP HID Kit, or complete Euro Luxury headlamps?

Sounds like you'll need to break out the multimeter and soldering iron!

Buy real HIDs not crappy eBay ones lmao.

Seriously ... It might help if you post a picture of the stuff you bought.
