    B, K gearbox rebuild kits

We've put a couple of popular kits together for those wanting to rebuild their own gearbox. The kits are comprehensive: a lot of sellers don't include things like lock nuts, diff bearings, retainer clips, snap rings, spacer shims etc. Our thoughts are that you might as well do things properly if you're undertaking such a large job as a gearbox rebuild. We have no idea how you properly rebuild to factory specs without these items.

    Here's what you get:
    All genuine Honda parts:
    - input bearing front
    - input bearing rear
    - counter bearing front
    - counter bearing middle
    - counter bearing rear
    - 2 x diff bearings
    - bearing snap ring counter rear
    - input snap ring shim*
    - diff spacer shim*
    - countershaft spacer shim* (K series only)
    - countershaft lock nut /bolt
    - input shaft seal
    - 2 x diff seals
    - selector shaft seal
    - dust boot
    - FREE shipping anywhere in Australia

    Price:
    K series: $319
    B series hydraulic: $319
    B series cable: $299
    D series: $299

Here's how it works: We send you out all the parts except the shims/spacers. You do your trial assemblies with the new bearings, take your measurements and then we send out the correct shim size for your application. This is the only way that you can properly assemble a gearbox with the correct bearing clearances and preloads without purchasing every shim!

Hey Sam I have a B20A gold top prelude. It is a JDM car and I was hoping to get a rebuild kit for the Auto Box - yes I will convert it to manual when I get the manual box from NZ...

In the mean time I believe the internals are similar if not the same as the A20A gearbox. Can you help a brother out?

I think the clutches are all shot so probably need a full rebuild?

I will PM you when I pull it apart if that makes things easier?

Yep I've got a listing for your trans (is your Prelude a BA1?) - I will need the transmission number as the clutches vary between early and late. The trans number should be something like 6129596.

    you are quite correct - it's a BA1 prelude.

I have 2 transmissions - 1 is in my parts car and the other in my daily driver. I used to have listings but they were misplaced. I recall the parts being very similar to the A20 auto transmissions as I began to gather parts. Anyway, will get the number off my parts car when I go to my storage.
