    Unhappy vtec making weird noise

    when vtec engages it makes a weird hissing noise sound like its air leak or something? really annoying checked all vac hoses etc still nothing. can sorta still feel it but doesnt have that grunt!
    car still drives normal though. anyone got any ideas? thanks!

    Checked your intake?

    Also check flux capacitor mounts and headlight fluid level.

    are you running aftermarket ecu?

    check vtec solenoid?

    oil levels low?

    running neptune ecu connected laptop to it no codes, oil levels good, itr intake arm with poddy with lid on or off still can hear the hissing noise at vtec.

    nah no clicking noise jst sssssss at vtec pretty anoyying happened out of nowhere when i hit vtec yo!

    hmm now Im thinking maybe exhaust leak

    blocked cat or cracked welds somewhere...

    get under there and visually inspect the flanges,weld joins etc. for any carbon soot buildup from leak
