    07 Navigation problems

Hi guys. Just wondering if anyone would have a clue why the satnav is stuck on the warning screen. "Leave engine on. May take up to 10mins." and so on.

Just a little background info. Installed the GROM ipod unit thingo and the navigation went off track. Recently just disconnected the battery to install a ct icebox and now stuck on the warning screen.

Any info would be of help. Thanks guys!

Any chance the plug to the DVD drive was disconnected during the install? Does the disc spin on ignition? Sounds like the unit is trying to update firmware but can't read the data

Thanks for you reply. The Dvd sounds like it is spinning. It is an original dvd, v13 or 14 i thinks. It says it's trying to find a gps signal or so, might have to pull it apart tomorrow and have another look see

Check your gps connector or DVD disc.

First thing first, it can take a lot of time for the gps to get it's initial signal (10-15) minutes. Are you in open air? Remember the gps needs a view of the sky. You will know it's working properly if after awhile the car clock auto corrects.
