Is this installed correctly?

I had my door sill garnishes installed by the dealer a few weeks ago for my 2010 Civic and something seems a bit out of place on the sill on the front passenger side. I noticed it was installed a bit too close to the edge of the door sill! Will this effect the rubber seal which keeps water out?
It's only 1mm from the outer edge of the door sill.

Im just worried about the rubber seal is all because i think that seals along the curved edge of the sill?

I think you'll be fine. Just ask the dealer or complain if it leaks, but I doubt it will. Seal will still seal IMO.

Looks about right where it should be, is it in front of that dimple on the door ledge that's about the same length as the sill?
