    DC5r water in the boot?

    Hey guys,
Im having a bit of a problem, yesterday as i was driving i noticed water shaking in my boot, i had a look and found that water had somehow gotten into where my spare tyre is? It hasnt affected the actual boot though but i fear it might? I have a sub in the boot and im worried it might eventually get into the boot and cause damage.

I had this problem with my old dc5 (standard) but i had nothing in the boot so i didnt pay much attention

Is this common? should i ignore it or?

Personally I would look into it and see where its coming from, get a friend to wet the car with the hose and u sit in the car with the seats folded down and see if u can spot where its coming from

I am certain it is your taillight gaskets.

Had the same issue on my DC5.

They are a rubber foam which deteriorates over time.

Yes it is worth changing because water is in your spare wheel space. No it is really easy to change, this is where u can purchase them from:
