Thread: Ek1 seat rail?

  1. #13
unless you like tearing your hair out with fabrication do not use stock ek1 seat rails for after market seats. the rail is part of the pivot on the stock seats. the seat belt side of the rail isnt flat like most oem seat rails so there is nothing to bolt the seat onto. if eg/dc2 rails can work with just one mount fabbed up use them. i recently put seats into an eg and ek using factory rails and the eg was much easier.

I just have the oem ek1 seat rails. I want to get bride or recaro seats

well if you must use the oem seat rails go to u-pullit or look for another set to hack up. the factory seats are completely pulled apart when using just the rails.

    Hey Giuls1,

I just pulled out a pair of Recaro's in black from my EK CXi as well as CTR rear seats too... The Recaros come with the rails so you don't have to do any mucking around.

PM me if you want the whole set of seats!
