    question 1:
whats the quality of the turbo, doesnt look like one of the well known brands.

    question 2:
engine management, what are you going to do with that?

Garrett. I've heard they're good from one 'not-reputable' source i.e. my friend. Otherwise, I'm waiting on my mechanic to get back to me on his opinion... and anyone else that can weigh in?

Garrett is good, as long as it's a genuine garret not a chinese copy

Thats pretty much something i was hoping to get an idea about here. Wouldnt know where to begin in terms of management for our cars
at this stage you'll need flashpro and tsx ecu and a custom tune.

thats quite a bit of money.

imo $1200 give/take for the ecu is quite cheap compared to cars like an STI which youre looking at over $3k

You can get Cobbs AP for the Subaru for less than a grand.
Or there's open source solutions available on your laptop for free on the Subaru...

01 WRX onwards have programmable ECU, that is if you only run a single tune, even with an older model you can essentially piggyback with a Power FC.

Side note - Cosworth anything on Subaru is baller.
