Civic badge won't come off, any ideas??

I got the outer bit of the badge off by heating it up and just peeling it off but now the rest won't come off. I've tried wax and grease remover and this other stuff called goof off which is the same as goo gone. I've been thinking to try sanding it but I recon it'll scratch the paint. If I can't get it off I'm gonna buy another badge to cover it.Attachment 25459

    Use WD40 or eucalyptus oil

    Agree with Eucalyptus Oil!

Try let it soak if you can... It's what I used to remove the pesky "CXi" which was stuck on the rear
(Only problem is that under the CXi is perfect Milano Red while the rest of the hatch has gone pink )

Let it soak for 10-15 mins... Might take a few goes to get everything off!

If really stubborn then alternate with WD40 and the oil...

Just have patience because last thing you want is to possibly damage the paint

Try some abrasive polish if the above adhesive removers don't work.

Best choice would be to apply more heat with either a heat gun or a hair dryer and try rubbing it off, if you don't have access to either use a warm damp rag or towel and "hot compress" it.

Be careful of boiling water,it can leave permanent marks in paint as if you've ever seen a spilled coffee on a car you cant remove it without repaint..

the pic shown looks to have used some aftermarket glue, the oem isnt like that iirc

maybe carefully scraping it with a blade is the only option
