    World Time Attack Challenge 2013

Just got back from WTAC 2013 and have to say that Benny Tran is flying the Honda flag high and bright as he is putting in unbelievable times in both the S2000 (1:41.036)(currently 2nd Club Sprint Class) and the DC2 (1:32.680)(currently 3rd Open Class).

    Check here for final standings:

    http://www.worldtimeattack.com/index...e-timing-2013/

Those placings are outright for that class and not just FWD which Benny is miles ahead on.

An awesome effort which ever way you look at it.

I never got the opportunity to intro myself in the pits, but if I did all I wanted to say is: Very well done!

    Woz

Yeah saw that, well done Benny - S2000 results particularly impressive considering the lack of development time, will be a monster in the future.

Yep well done to Benny and Jimmy, just goes to show what a limited budget/determination and a bit of Back Yard knowledge can achieve.

From their 'winning' DC2 Integra. Looks like some poor worksmanship and quality on show again.

I have a few mates in the states with 600whp turbocharged K series that get daily driven on internally OEM engines (only thing changed are valve springs due to the need for higher seat pressure) and these guys have been doing it for over 12 months. Yes they have massive fuel systems & are running E85, but so are the Tran brothers.

There is also a drifter in Melbourne with a K20A turbo that is internally OEM and that makes 300rwkw all day every day & JDM Yard have seen 400kw on a near stock turbocharged K24, so please explain why you can't make 350kw on a stock K series with enough boost?
