    Post cai/sri for dc5 base

    Hey guys

    I woukd like to know is there a difference between sri/cai for a dc5r and a dc5?
Im looking to get either a cai or sri for my dc5 base, called up some dealers but none can confirm for me, I looked at the intake in the states, they have them for rsx base, but dont know whether it would suit my car, so im asking you guys to clear things up for me

    Thanks

    Should be the same mate.

As for the US models I think it's the same too, but just ask them if there's a difference between LHD and RHD. Should be right though IMO, every picture I've seen shows the intake in the same spot left and right drive.

Part number is different between Base model DC5 and Type S/ Type R DC5.
It can be fitted with a slight modification somehow but easier to get the right item for it

From my own personal experience - the injen cai for type r is different for a base and it won't fit onto your throttle body

It will fit if you just heat the silicone connector with a hair dryer and put some silicone spray on the inside of it to help it slide over the TB
