    Post EG Civic B16A2 Header

    Hi everyone

I have an EG Civic 1994 sedan with B16A2 setup, My header/extractors are broken
    have a hole.

So i am need to replace them, i saw some extractors on ebay for under 200AUD they are in Tri-Y 4-2-1 profile and mentioned for integra 1994-01 with B16A . I want to ask whether it will fit in my EG or not? because they are listed for integra unfortunately i couldn't find any item for EG and it says this item is for B16A nowhere it is written that i can use them with B16A2, Are headers for B16A and B16A2 same?

One last question if i use cheap headers would it help me to gain some hp's as claimed by manufacturer on ebay like 15-20hp or i should go with pacemaker or xforce or skunk2 type brands, does it really worth that much money?. I dont want to spend more than 400 including labor to install the extractors.

    Thanks in advance

yes should all fit, b16, b18, b20 will all fit

its up to you what headers you want to run, but generally, cheap headers are cheap for a reason, and will just break again

Get a plm toda replica header.
tri y header design wont give you a good ground clearance on b16a.

what is the diameter of exhaust collector pipe which receives header's secondaries i have EG civic want to know whether any header will fit on my car or not
because some are listed with 2.5 collector and few are with 2" inch.

And about your recommendation if i buy 4-1 Toda header what will be the power loss as i have been using 4-2-1 headers for long time ?

and in adelaide where can i buy them ?

if u care abt ground clearance u hv to go for 4-2-1 with 2" collector
anything with 2.5" flange is designed to clear the taller deck height of B16B/B18/B20
MOST of the budget headers out there are designed for tall decks doesnt matter whether its 2" or 2.5" collector...
for yr budget u might go xforce / skunk2 alpha series
