    D16Y5 in Australia

Just curious and wanna know the answer when I got bored and searched on the Internet. Wikipedia said the D16Y5 was used in HX model and produced 86kw and 141nm torque, the vti model (i guess thats in Australia?..) produced 94.7kw and 145nm torque. On the other hand, Carsales.com.au said D16Y5 is used in 96-00 vti sedan and produced 88kw only which is the same as D16Y4. And I was also been told that actually both D16Y5 & Y8 are sharing the same cylinder head and as a result they produced the same hp. Which data is the correct one?.. Thanks guys..

IMHO, I would be more concerned about engine condition rather than some figures posted on various websites.

I would understand if its a big HP motor....

but if you're into the D, d15b7 is the best.

Mind me asking why that motor is best, power and torque wise its pretty much on par with a D15b4.
Im still learning but I've narrowed down the best ones being d16y1 or d16y4 and the jdm d15b vtec
