    I would get quotes from suspension specialists as well as your local workshop, because sussy shops may have tools to remove and replace the bushes without needing to remove the LCA, i.e. "in situ", whereas an ordinary w/shop may need to remove it to use their press, If both say they need to do that anyway, then look at getting the inner and outer pivot bushes replaced as well.

    The bushing the shock sits on is actually part of the knuckle asembly itself
    So he'd either have to remove the knuckle which is a pita or get a suspension joint to do it for him

    Ah yes, I sourced an illustration from your link. I see it uses the double pressed LCA's without the shock pivot in them, so yes, not an easy job for a novice.

    could make your own press with a good bolt and some spacers. but if i were u i would let someone else do it.
