    Pollen Filter FD1 & FD2

    Hi Guys,

Can you please check if your car came with a pollen filter?
I was servicing my car on the weekend as it was time to clean the pollen filter for my 40 000 km service i realized it wasnt there!

I had my friends euro there and sure enough he has one.
As we were taking the filter out you could see all the dust and leaves it has been collecting and realize i have been breathing this shit in.

So please check and let me know.

AFAIK The pollen filter is not a standard item on the Civic. It is an option you have to purchase.

Yeah i called up honda and they said its optional for 75 bucks....

I would of thought it would be standard since it filters the air coming into your car when using aircon..... health standards..

Car comes from Thailand. By their standards, exhaust smoke meets health standards.

you can buy an after market filter pretty cheap. Mine's Ryco and while it isn't listed for civic, is the same as the one on the Oddysey.

My pollen filter traps leaves, pollen, and dead bugs. I'd say yes.. I noticed that I didn't notice any dead bugs flying out of my A/C vent.

Yes because the dust comes from our clothes and skin, and the dashboard itself doesn't have air blowing on it to recirculate.
