    Engine Oil Flush machines

Just wanted to get some perspectives on Engine Oil Flush machines. Has anyone had this done when getting their car serviced? Has it caused any problems?

When I inquired about oil flushes with my mechanic. He said this is what he uses now, when it comes to engine oil flush.

I've used the typical engine oil flush in the past, where you pour it in with old engine oil, start the car and let it idle for 15 mins with the flush additive. Haven't had problems with this so far.

Engine oil flush additive generally not recommended to be done on Honda engines, especially the VTEC engine since it will get into the oil journals and mess up the clearance.

A simple regular maintenance (oil and filter change is all is needed to keep the engine clean).

I never used it at all on all of my Hondas.
