    It comes with the hardware, now bolt on though as apposed to welded to account for tolerance when installed.

    if you can make that bracket a L/triangle bracket would it make it more rigid?

    It's not necessary, the material used for the pedal assy is significantly more rigid than the OEM stamped design. This is all that is required to tie it back to the chassis via an existing mounting point on the firewall.
