    HOW MUCH OIL DOES YOUR CU2 HONDA ACCORD EURO USE in 10000 KLMS.

    Jusr woundering how much oil does our Cu2s Euros use. Mine is a 2011 Euro.

    1 Litre / 1000klms. That's outragess. !!Mine does not use that much (i think ) but havent done 50000 klms yet. But at 10000 klms the car only used 2 mils. So mine must be ok.

    Even VW/Audi say 1l/1000km is acceptable
    You need to realize in this day and age people (obviously not enthusiasts)
    Have demanded fuel efficient and less pollutive cars
    The downside in Hondas case was to use 0w20 that is very thin oil
    The good part was meeting emissions. The bad part engine longevity is decreased

    Yer,Thanks Jasemas- that is why i am using 5x40 Penrite full synth oil changed every 5000klms. i want my car to live forever HA !...

    I think when I used Penrite with mine it got a bit low too but other brands oil levels stayed the same?

    It shouldn't matter about the brand
    As long as it is shear resistant and meets API ratings and I can't stress this enough
    The correct viscosity oil for your engine
    0w/5 20/30/40 are the only specs you should use NO MATTER THE KMS
    If some salesman at Repc/SCA says use thicker oil for your engine if it has high kms
    Slap them

    I CU2. What Penrit oil did you use & what do you use now that doesn't use oil.? (Thanks for the coment- vey interesting).

    I used 5W40 HPR5, using Castrol Edge 5W30 at the moment.
