    Lightbulb check engine light doesn't work, not the bulb?

    Hey guys, my check engine light doesn't light up in accessory mode, and its not the bulb
    How do i go about fixing this? tried searching my manual and the forum but couldn't find anything,

    my bad, 92 eg civic, 210,000km manual, battery/oil pressure lights work fine, not too sure whether it was working to begin with when i got the car

    have you done a cluster swap ?


    The ECU grounds A13 to make the MIL illuminate. Get a 1Watt test lamp, connect one side to 12v and then connect the other side to A13. The globe should light up when you switch on to reds. If not does not your ECU has issues.


    Disconnect the ECU and ground A13 at the ECU connector. If the MIL on the cluster does not light up then you wave a wiring issue from the ECU connectors to the cluster.
