1993-1995 Honda Civic EG8 Fuel Filter Change...Help WTF (Also posted in Civic)

    Civic EG8 Chasis
    D15b Non-Vtec Engine

So after scratching my head for a while when trying to find my fuel pump I realised that this set up is a mix of the Concerto and the Civic.
Civic Chasis, Concerto Fuel Pump/Tank etc.

So now I have No clue where the fuel filter is. The fuel pump I can ascertain is only removable once the fuel tank has been dropped. Fuel filter for a 1990 Concerto is located at the rear. However I cannot find any literature on the "hybrid" version of these 2 honda models.

Your fuel filter from that generation of honda should be on the firewall
jusy follow the fuel rail back to the firewall and you may find a medium sized canister thats 99% true

    solved

Bro, thanks. This has been solved. The fuel filter is actually to the left side of the fuel tank in the rear, under the actual car. Left hand rear wheel side. 2 hoses and its a b€tch to change out. Probably not so hard on a car lift. I dare say that it could be installed into the engine bar at a later stage if desired. Honda obviously felt the same in later engines.
