Dash clock modules - are they linked to cruise control?

I ended up disconnecting my clock module, because soldering the back of it did NOT fix that annoying rapid count-up problem. Today - when I used the car for the first time - I could not engage Cruise? Is the clock module also a part of cruise control somehow?

    Cheers

Got it sorted - nothing to do with that module though! Does anyone have a clock module for sale? I've noticed a burn mark on the clock lens, most probably the reason its not work properly..
