    OEM pistons into B18C7

I'm in the middle of a rebuild on my B18c7
Now ive been told that a P30 piston is going to give me a slightly higher CR than the P73-00 that come standard.
Has anyone done this? if so, is it worth doing?

It's not slight but it does work with tune and cams. Haven't seen it done with stock cams, I reckon the dynamic compression would be too high to run on 98, you'd need e85 to run the right spark advance (this is gut feeling not fact). It goes from 11.1 to around 11.9ish IIRC, without any milling. If your block and head is milled it will be around 12:1.

I am running an S300 and im pretty sure they can support E85 now?
main reason ive been looking down this path is that my local honda dealers are trying to tell me that they can't get P73-00 aus spec pistons and id have to try online..
looking online only seems to lead to the states with the usdm P73-A) piston ;(

I should be able to get them. do you need oversize? Rings to suit obviously? PM details and we'll go from there.
