    DC5R performance.

Anyone with a DC5R ever experience a decrease in performance where you thought it may have been the clutch but however replaced the clutch and noticed it still isn't as it use to be.

The car has 135kms on it. Clutch is like new only a couple of months old.
Now when trying to 'fang' it on second gear for instance it doesn't accelerate as quick as it use to. Much slower actually.

Would anyone have any idea what this could be? Timing belt maybe?
    Any help is appreciated. Ta.

Do a compression test on all cylinders. Should be around 200-220 in each cylinder

If you have been servicing it correctly and have let it warm up before flogging it all its life, then you're more then likely just used to the car.

I've noticed all my honda's performance declines on hot days.

Full throttle body clean usually makes a noticeable difference if it hasn't been done in a while...

but compression test is the true test of whether the power has dropped, or your expectations of the car's power have risen, like most of us!
