    Minimum mods for 150kw K20A EP3?

    Hi guys,

If everything goes well I will be picking up my first EP3 tonight. It will be completely stock.

From my research it seems that 150kw atw may be possible with stock cams, k-pro headers and exhaust.

Can I get away with keeping my stock intake?

What would be the power gains with just a k-pro and stock everything?

Ideally I want to have stock cams and have the min amount of engine mods to achieve this.

All useful input appreciated with approx costs!

To reach 150kw at the wheels you will need:

    RBC intake manifold
    70mm throttle body
    Cold air intake
    Headers
    3in exhaust
    Kpro/KTuner/Haltech etc

Even with this set up, to reach a genuine 150kw is a bit on the hard side (unless you are on a happy dyno).

Personally, I would also upgrade injectors, fuel rail & fuel pump for piece of mind

For 3in exhaust would that be a custom job?

Any recommendations for partcular 70mm throttle body and headers? Are the headers going to be 3" as well?

Any need to port the RBC intake mani?

    Edit: thank you btw

Yes you need to port match the RBC or RRC intake manifold to 70mm throttle body
Also throttle body adaptor is needed

If you are using a Hybrid Racing throttle body, you will not need a throttle body adapter. Also port matching does not also help for transient throttle response
