Lightbulb EK cxi(auto) or Ek gli(manual) for b16 swap

    Hello peeps,

So just wanted your advice and insights.
I have an EK Gli(manual) and EK Cxi(auto), I'm just brainstorming the benefits and drawbacks of doing a b16 swap on either of the cars.

    so for the GLI:
    disk brakes
    auto options
straight swap with all the required bits and pieces

    and for the Cxi:
lighter than gli since it doesn't have all the additional components

I'm leaning more towards the Cxi since it is lighter but it requires a disk brake conversion that I can just source from the GLI (do i need anything else?).
What will i need to put a manual transmission into the Cxi since it is an automatic setup will i just need the mounts necessary to mount the gearbox.

    I'm a noob i know.

Other problem with the b16 conversion, with the auto, the car would have some extra wiring that would need alternation (also the cluster will have the gear lights)

If the other car isn't for sale and can be used for parts, won't the cluster be able to be used?

PM Me I have everything you need to swap ek from auto to manual.

Only thing your gonna have source on your own is Cover for the hole left behind after the conversion.

I'd go to the GLi, auto options + disk brakes.

Who the hell still winds their windows down?

Yes, either car can be used for parts into the other.
I can change the cluster and it'll just be brake conversion and auto to manual conversion "IF" i choose to do the swap into the Cxi.
    Ill PM you @amant02
and is it pricey to modify the wiring and convert the brakes into disk brakes?.

If the price difference is too great, i guess ill just go for the Gli.

Thanks for your input guys. Cheers.

You can keep the same cluster.

PM me again when your ready to do business. Im looking for around $350.

Google ek auto to manual conversion.

Also google for ek disc brake conversion.

Sorry not to be rude, I just don;t want to become tech support for something I didn't even go thru with.

Im not joking when I say taking the GLi option is better. Gonna save you so much work to get similar results. Your gonna be cutting the chassis cover for auto to manual conversion.
