    s2k stock diff

Hi guys Ill be buying a car soon and still deciding between dc5r or s2k i would take the s2k over the dc5r anyday but the weak diff has got me thinking otherwise.
Could someone help confirm a few things for me

regarding the stock diff on a ap1.
Completely standard s2k no engine mods just the cai+exhaust
How much abuse can the diff handle before breaking ?
    for e.g will launching @5000rpm+ 10-20 times a day reduce/break the diff faster ?
is it breaking from too much hp gain or its just weak in general ?

    Hi

Have a read of this: https://neatgearboxes.wordpress.com/...-again-part-2/

The diff can handle light abuse but hard launching and/or wheel hopping on a drag strip will cause issues.

Launching at 5000rpm constantly without letting things cool down will cause problems

Also, if you are dumping the clutch from 5k 10-20 times a day you will have problems regardless of what car it is.
