Clicking relay when I open the door?

Hi guys, new one on me... but I just went and got in my Civic EK1, and when I opened the door a relay clicks down in the drivers footwell. It does it for about a minute every time I open the door.
Any ideas what it could be? I've never had this on any of my Honda's before.

its not factory,

look for some king of add in box for alarm ect

It has an aftermarket alarm/remote central locking.

could be any reason

possibly the guy who installed the alarm used a relay to trigger the alarm when the dome light switched on, could be how that alarm works, who knows
