Don't bother with upgrading or replacing pads.

BBK (big brake kit) is the only solution

Bbk sounds exactly what you need.

I would pm amant02 and let him explain what you will gain from this set up

Yes the only thing that is proven to work is a BBK (big brake kit), user amant02 can point you in the right direction and will assist in any way possible. Send him a PM, always willing to help.

Just curious which brand front brake pads other Jazz drivers are using and how they rate them?

I've been using the Ferodo TQ's and they are not quiet at all and are squeaky when cold and hot. So I thought maybe I should try OEM but Honda want $152 plus gst and after market pads start from roughly $40 so price wise Honda does not seem very reasonably priced to me.

Basically I want quiet pads even if I have to replace them more often. I believe that would mean a softer compound pad.

    Thanks!

    How about this for perspective.
How long do pads last ? maybe 30-40,000kms ? Another $50-100 max over 40,000kms of perfectly quiet driving....I don't know. You do the math.

    i mean BBK

    Acre super fighters, awesome pads

I think they go under acre GP here in aus, buy from brakes direct, easy to deal with and good prices.

$40 pads arnt very good pads generally.. Unless you buy some second hand good pads but that's just silly.

Ask amant02 for the BBK hook up, stops you real quick

You just slap it on, some time a little fluid helps then slap it on and pump it abit and it's like a rock, the pedal I mean.
