2005 Accord euro luxury battery icon on dash flashing once in a while

    hi,
I have a 2005 Honda accord euro luxury cl9, recently I was noticing a flash of "battery icon", on my dash every now and then.
I went to my mechanic, to check the battery, it was overcharging, and he said the serpentine belt is ok. I still get this flash once in a while, I am really worried for the cause of the problem as I am planning for a long drive in a month's time. Please let me know.
The overcharging volts are about 15.6 volts. Is it the voltage regulator or the alternator itself is crooked.
    Thanks in advance.
