Lightbulb EK manual engine swap into EK auto

    Hey peeps,

I've got a manual EK (donor car) and I want to swap the engine over to an Automatic EK civic.
I am wanting to remove the manual gearbox, replace it with the auto and place it into my Auto EK civic.

Would this process be as easy as replacing the gearbox attached to the engine or is there any issues to be aware of or is it even possible?

Would anyone on here be able to do the job?

    Thanks.

Flywheel will have to be changed and torque converter fitted. Possibly the wiring loom from the old engine? Anything else idk.

So basically I have everything I need.
If i remove both engines + gearboxes and use the auto setup as a reference to make the changes on the manual setup that should be fine right?
Once the donor engine is matched with the auto gearbox I can drop it in the auto EK that has the ecu and everything.

Is it as simple as it seems lol

Can't swap the ECU unless you swap the keys as well due to the immobiliser.

pretty sure op's just replacing the stock motor with another one, should be a straight plug n play affair
shouldn't need to swap harnesses or ecu's
