Question Da9 b16 donor into Ef

    Hi all,

I have read the below article but wish to clarify a few more things.

    Article:http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...ine-Swap-Guide

    Donor car is a 1992 Da9 running a jap spec b16a

    Things I wish to confirm:
    - would i be able to use the mounts from the Da9 b16 into the Ef?
    - would da9 or ek Gli rear disk brakes work with the Ef?
    - is cutting a re-welding the shift linkage be reliable?
    - anyone else tried this swap ?
    - should i just keep the Da9 running or do the swap what do you guys advise me?

    Thanks in advance
    you guys are champions

we started it and gave up in the wiring department...

otherwise most of the mechanical parts are interchangeable and will work in the ef

I know its not much help, but I wish u all the best

u should document it if u go ahead and share it for others...

What happened with the wiring ? What made it too complicated?
If I use the wiring from the da9 would it make things bit easier?

that's the issue, we tried to do that exactly, but all the plugs etc didn't line up/match up
plus it doesn't help that the ed we had was carby originally

it can be done and it can work, just either lots of time to work out the wiring, or very expensive if u buy a loom etc from reputable companies who make plug and play stuff
