    Civic Hatch 2012 Terrible lights

    Hi all

I find my 2012 Civic Hatch lights on low-beam far too dim, but there is usually an oncoming car when I drive home from work in the winter so can't drive on high. I had the Honda dealer try to point them, but still really poor. What can I do? I live in Western suburbs Sydney. Are there any specialists around? If I replace the bulbs, are there some that will improve over the standard bulb without blinding the oncoming cars? If I drove more at night I would even get rid of the car they are that bad. Thanks for any suggestions DD

Please ensure that the headlight is clear and not frosted. If frosted, there are kits you can buy and use to make it clearer.
Headlight cover does reduce the output a little, so you may want to remove this if you have one.
Replacing bulb to Philips xtreme or Osram Night breaker makes it a little better.
You can go to HID if bulb replacement is not enough but installation is difficult (nearly imposible) to make it legal. Use 35W only and 4200K (no blue spectrum).
