    Climate Control Lights on DC5R

    Hey guys,

Just need some help, one of the lights on the airconditioning controls have gone out. Have already spoken to Honda and Hannys and both have no idea on how to fix it.

I know I can probably just buy an LED and try to replace it myself but looking at the dash, I don't know where to start.

Anyone know where I can get this thing fixed?

    Thanks

you need to buy the bulbs for the aircon unit..

    they are expensive.

    you get them from honda.

    Thanks.

Honda referred me to Honbits? Anyone dealt with them? Are they any good.
Honda advised that the bulbs should cost no less than $15.

But does anyone know how to take the unit out of the dash?

screwdriver around the panel and pull, be careful not to snap anything.

Call honda again, perhaps a different honda, sounds like the guys you were talking to have no idea because the def sell the bulbs.

Checked out Trivett Parts today after work.

Basically the DC5 Climate Control panel have 5 bulbs in total.
    - 3 NEO Wedge Bulbs (Part Number: HO-80629S04003) - Total Price: $41.49
    - 2 Bulb, NEO Wedges (Part Number: HO-79670SL0A01) - Total Price: $21.04

Unfortunately they were unable to tell me which one i needed to replace as it wasn't very clear on their diagram.

Anyway, they don't have any in stock and they will need to order the parts.
    Shipping takes approximately 2 - 3 weeks.

    Trivett Parts Contact Details FYI:
Address: Unit 11, Cumberland Green, 2-8 South Street, Rydalmere NSW, 2116
    Email: partsorders@trivett.com.au
    Phone: 02 8832 8832

What i wanted to know is, if anyone can distinguish which bulbs are needed for what feature on the panel and if anyone know where else to get these parts from anywhere besides Honda?
