Inactive for a bit. Back on with some news! and two questions.

    So, FINALLY.

    I have my 2006 DC5 Type S where i want it.

New rims, fog lights, new clutch, Synchros updated, good tyres, new power steering pump, going to get it tinted 20% all round.

    Cut & polished, looking good.

Only two things that i hope the helpful fellows (all you wonderful people) could share your input on:

    1. Rattle in sunroof assembly, been recommended to go to an Auto trimmer which i can't seem to find a local one but that is ok, the question is that does anyone else have this happen to their Integras? Being a 11 year old car now i know this would be more common but i was just wondering anyway.

    2. I took my car back to the mechanics after getting my left rear hub and power steering pump replaced and told them about a noise that has been going on for months, whenever it is in low gear and i am going slow a whining noise happens, the mechanics told me "sometimes these things just happen and it is a normal noise" they said it was gear noise. I was just wondering if anyone else also has this happen to them?

Note: Sorry for the novels. haha.

Edit: Trying to upload picture but keeps coming up with error message.

There we go, let me know if that works / opinion on ma bby.

Ok so, the noise only happens when i am in 1st and 2nd gear at low speed, it sounds more like a metal whine, high pitched, and sounds like it comes from the front. Mechanics said it is normal with it being related to gears.

    nice ride man, looks good

I don't know man might just be normal transmission noise, maybe you're just being to pedantic. You say the synchros have been changed, was the noise there before that?

    Thanks mayne

Yeah maybe i am being a bit pedantic, just irritating that after thousands spent on it there is that noise, just never heard it on any other car i've driven, but maybe it's just a Honda thing, because the other cars weren't Hondas.

I didn't notice the noise before they got changed, but at the same time not sure if it was always there but i just hadn't noticed it.

Just ordered,2-3 wks delivery.Still gotta remove alternator belt to see if the noise is the alternator. Need to order a belt for that cause the one on there is too short.Took me a while to get it on there, reason being different size belt from the 96 y4 to the 98 y4 when I swapped engines and never changed it,that was a year or 2 ago.May have worn the bearing, will know in 3 wks.
