Gas Strut bonnets for Euro 07

Has anyone ever tried to install gas struts for the bonnet before?

I've tried to see if there is a kit for the euro, but there only seems to be for the standard accord instead. Would anyone else know if this would fit?

Doesn't seem like there is a seller in Australia though. This would take a month.

    Are they useful?

They are useful in the sense that you dont need to fiddle and find the holder but remember that like with your shocks, a bad quality one will fail and not hold your bonnet up making it worse than using the stick

even OEM ones are generally gone in a car with 10 years on it
