Hi guys,

As you may know I've just picked up a 92 transtop that needs some love. (Please see below post for handbrake issues!)

It came with an ignition kill switch - which as soon as you tried to use in the off position (would start and then immediately stop the engine) would start to smoke. I tidied up the wires and seathing, and rewired to make sure they couldn't touch each other and the same thing happened again.

3 wires go to the switch (1 is a ground - then a black and a white). I've looked at the Del Sol wiring diagrams and this shouldn't be the case. Can I open up the bundles of wires that go towards the cabin fuse box and trace where a split may have occurred? Or can someone point me in the right direction - I've looked at videos online and them splicing the ignition cable is all I can seem to think of.

The steering wheel top cover has a moulding which says 'Push' - is there any chance this is a stock kill switch?

Cheers in advance
