Drive belt - 1998 civic GLI

    Hi,

I have a 1998 GLi civic and in the manual it says to do inspect and adjust drive belts every 40,000km

I would like to know if its okay to skip this?

if not, is there much difference in price between hiring a mechanic to adjusting the drive belts vs replacing the drive belts ?

    Thanks
