2005 Odyssey K24A6 Motor changed - Now have buzz from gas pedal at any rpm

    Hi,
I have the 2005 Luxury Odyssey (Australian version) and just had my engine replaced as it had bad oil rings after 240,000 Km.
The replacement motor was a low Km one at 85,000Km.
The replacement engine purrs away quite well but I get an anoying buzz vibration from the gas pedal with a low level hum sound at any speed or rpm when the gas pedal has any pressure put on it, even when stationary. I never had this on the old engine.
Could it be the engine , engine mount or some other issue.

    Regards Mike

Just looking at this problem online there are a lot of complaints about Odyssey engine mounts failing. If you feel it in the gas pedal your main suspect is the left side one of course, followed by the rear.. It's shit timing of course because engine out would have been a great time to just slip in new mounts.

They don't cost a lot to replace if you DIY. You need to support the engine with a jack.
