if he has money some koni coilovers would be better than tein.
they cost alot more than some tein SS or something but really it depends how much he wants to spend and what he wants outta them.

well i just want my ride height to be lower, maybe an inch or two.
would like some quality coilovers, so that i know my car will be safe at a place like Akuna Bay.

You can use EG/DC2 suspension on the EF too, but the front shock is 1 inch longer, but if you have height adjustable coilovers, then its not a problem. Just adjust it to suit.

You may need to change the rear lower control arm so the rear shocks fit. Dont know if all DC2/EG model have the same LCA's. Unless you got a 88 model, it came with the same LCA as the DC2R & EG6 came with.

EG/DC2 struts are slightly wider in diameter than ED/EF - you need to change the lower wishbone at the front and it can lead to rubbing of the wishbone on the driveshaft if you don't clearance it properly.

BTW - whiteline do a kit for the ED without any of those hassles.

yeah, you could be right. I have EG6 suspension on my ED, but I changed my lower wishbones at the same time.
