need resonator for my twin loop or not???

hi all,
i got my x-force twin loop muffler n im waiting to get a 2.25 inch stainless exhaust. but now im considering if i need a resonator aswell to keep noise close to legal limit. wot do u guys fink??

I put a resinator on my teg and that did crap all, still loud as anything with a depper note but i loved it. But aint the twin loop suppose to be quiet anyway??? I also heard that puttin on a resinator also loses power or somethin, not sure aye, like the gain from exhaust wont be available no more or something

yea, it supposed to be quiet, but i jus want some ppl wit personal experiences wit the twin loop to express their views aswell . i guess if the resonator did nuffn, den it would be a waste to put one in.

a resonator is another muffler. it is there to reduce noise = reduce flow.

the twinloop should be one of quietest exhuast on market, so maybe you will not need resonator.

If you're worried, fit a straight through resonator... (Mugen do...)
Be sure it's of the type that doesn't constrict flow.
No performance will be lost if this is the case.

i've got a 2.25" twin loop. however I've got two hotdogs in the middle. absolutely no resonant RPM zones, stock noise if I drive normally, loud if i floor it. excellent.

I can't tell you what mine would be like if i had no hotdogs. however, unlike what some will tell you if you fit a straight hotdog it will negligibly impede flow. it will, however, cut out annoying resonant zones in your rpm band. i would get one.

a resonator is not a muffler. They lower the exhaust tone.

I have 2 19" resonators before my trr twin loop muffler. Sounds very nice and deep with my 4-1 headers.

if i get xforce twin loop.. running long hot dog.. would my car sound stock on normal driving... as in lower than 3k revs...else ill stick to an r muffler..
