    Exclamation Cant remove Boss Kit

    Hey all,
recently i replaced the factory steering wheel with a momo one, the boss kit i used wasnt cancelling the indicators afetr id turn, so i though id take a look at it today.
Well today when i removed the nut inside the wheel, the boss kit just wouldnt slide off like it did before. the nut wasnt very tight. no matter how hard i tried the damn thing just wont budge....
Any ideas on what i can do?

    thanx

Put WD 40 on the spline and bolt the whel back on and start banging the wheel towards you and pulling hard. If that fails then buy a steering wheel puller tool.

Sounds like you need a bit of a spacer for your boss kit, I used a washer, that will fix the indicator problem.

steering wheels are very difficult to take off.. like flipmods said.. u will need either alot of strength or a steering wheel puller, if u decide to just pull at it make sure u leave the bolt on when pulling at it, just have the bolt loosened.. u could hurt yourself otherwise

    hmm ok,
its just that when i took off the orriginal wheel, it just slid off easy.

Who has a steering wheeler puller thingy and is willing to lend it to a fellow ozhonda member???

i would suggest putting the wheel back onto the boss kit, and using it as a handle to yank it off...

It’s because the steering wheel bolt is tapered and you over tightened the boss kit on there.

steering wheel puller costs about 27 bucks at super cheap.
its like the grappling hook in those toy machines (the stuffed toys) with a long bolt in the middle.
i had to buy one aswell and i only used it once. it still pisses me off that i had to buy one
