Plus, does anyone remember the old 35 car races where you had to pre-qualify for the 28 odd spots on the grid, and then mid season qualifying too for the bottom teams?

Everyone owns everyone in the car world, so they should just all enter anyway. No one will buy a Nissan because Alonso won a race.
That's why in my thread I said it would be good to see VW in it Jase...
By that I didn't necessarily mean the VW brand specifically, but they are a massive company that own Audi, Lamborghini and Bentley (amongst others).
They have a massive amount of resources behind them, and for me, they would need to be considered given they have ownership of some of the most awesome machinery...

If anything, I thought Volvo would of, they own nearly everything else, our hold enough shares in most car manufactures!

The Minardi's are actually fast this year, Jacques in the Sauber was struggling to keep up the pace with it, and he said his car was ok.

I think thats more to do with Jacques than the Sauber.
Jordans picked up a bit compared to the Minardi's in europe though...
