will work out much better if you bought a manual instead. You won't have the worry of a converted car when it comes time to sell it. Plus a car already designed a manual will run much more efficiently compared to a converted one, especially when it comes to gearboxes and trannys.

if you were doing a full engine conversion i would say it may be worth it. But on the other hand just a change over would be very time consuming and expensive.
I would only recommend it if you had other extreme modification done which out weigh the value of repurchasing.

My car was originally GSi auto. I changed it to manual, for $1600 at GPC, and NEVER had a problem.
