    [Euro] Resale value

    Hi fellows,

Just wondering how much are the euros selling for now?

My euro is a blue 2004 lux manual.
I know mods shouldnt be worth anything but I'm got 18s, cusco strut bar, mugen gear knob, (also ordered Injen filter and Spoon springs), with a blue custom plate (12 months of rego).

    Thanks in advance,

    James

I did a evaluaton a few months ago, They were pitching around $33K.

I also have a 2004 Euro Manual. But for the mileage i had when i did the evaluation, i should get more for a low mileage. This was based assuming the car had done around 10K-15K km.

    $27200-31800 trade in value
    $37800-45360 dealer price

    HONDA ACCORD EURO LUXURY
    4D SEDAN , 2004 , 2.4 lt, 6 SP MANUAL
    Average km's travelled 23,000
    Price when new $40800

I believe it was on redbook, i paid 10 bux for an evaluation. No trade in. Just how much the car was worth simply because i was curious how the system works.

Remember it's just a guideline, and the fact that your mileage is lower than the average mileage - can help you get some ground. Overall you will always get more money for a private sale.

I've already been through that phase once..

The mazda rx8 and nissan 350z. As good as they are, they have a lot of flaws that turned me off - which has made me appreciate my Euro a lot more.

Though i love the newly anticipated MY06 Subaru WRX STi. Very sleek, however i also heard that this will be the last generation before a total re-work is done for 2007. I'll be 25 by then.. CHEAPER INSURANCE lol.

But enjoy what you have, and keep looking The new Audi's are nice too, but not for the price, and a bit slow in performance (for some models compared to Honda Euro) - same opinion goes for a lot of other Euro cars.

I personally life NA/supercharge better. I don't like the boost lag.

Evo7's never came to Australia i thought?

    No Evos are around!!

Maybe coz I used to drive a turbo... just like the rush a little more...

But then again I'm sorta wasting money since the accord is still so new

i can see where your comming from wanting the extra perfomance.

For me though a turbo car or something with a powerful v6 (e36 m3 ) is just impractical for insurance reasons and my level of driving expereince.

I'm gonna wait it out a few years untill the insurance comes down and i've done some driver training.

Leungie, you'll still got awesome money for your euro now with low km's easily over 30,000. If you got some extra money lying around i'd bite the bullet and get the perofmance car you really want. You'll loose less money doing it while the euro is still new and in demand i think?

You are probably right... my first choice was another S15 but maybe i'll try somethign else this time - 4WD.
I'll have to see... maybe some people here can make me think differently and mod the euro instead!

The good thing with the euro is that it has the best interior out of the lot.
