    Skyline GTS-T vs. S2000

Big talks have been arising between myself and some mates on whether an S2000 would beat a 1995-1996 Nissan Skyline GTS-T...

I've been in both, and think the S2000 is quicker, what are your opinions guys...

Seeing that there is no "Standard" 1/4 mile time from an aussie imported (complied) gts-t that i know of, post up your thoughts, and your times from stock or whatever, to help us compare...

We are going to drags end of month...

Use one of those 1/4 mile estimators that they have online. At least it is better than guessing or trying to extrapolate a stock GTS-T time from a modded one.

    agreed,

and that isnt even taking into account the torque of the nissan over the slug that the S2000 is off the line.

    what about the weight difference?

and doesnt the stock gts-t have 184kw (Jap spec)? whereas the s2000 has 176kw at the engine? where is the loss in power to wheels on the s2000 side? Not to mention the power to weight ratio...

Ive heard that they are very close... but want to hear some proof from drags...

I recon the S2000 will be quicker.
Stock R33 skylines (well the ones i've gone against) are not that much quicker then my DC2, in fact one was slower.

The problem is that not very many skylines are still in stock form...
Dont R33 skylines way about 1500kg? What does the S2000 weigh? 1000kg?

Just SMSed my mate who has a R33 GTST with 3inch xorst, upgraded intercooler, tuned ECU and CAI, he was dynoed with 161rw KW. So i'd expect a stock one to have much less then that, say around 140rw kw....
