Difference bet JDM and AUDM dc5 cluster?

Is there any difference between the AUDM and JDM cluster??

The jdm ones says Type R (which lights up) on it and the speed only reads up to 180km.

This is for the '04 and pre models.

This is the '05 and onwards one.

redline cutout point is different as well.
jdm redline is 8400rpm
audm is 7900rpm???

i dont feel a difference to be honest. maybe the type r is just to good from factory. installation to the rear required me to slightly realign the abs line.

Do you sometimes get a rattling noise comming from the front, when coasting (going at speeds, with no gas applied.????)

havent noticed any noise from the front.
it was a bitch to install with its multi piece design. wish it was like a cusco one piece design.

speedos are different to, bith read km/h but ours shows 260 where jap shows 180

What are the differences between AUDM cluster and JDM Cluster for DC2R?
I know it cuts at 180.
Any other significant differences?
And is it a straight swap, no changes or reset of the ECU?
just plug and play?
