    LSD brands for D-series box

    what brands are available and where can they b found ??

    i know everyone had cusco .. ats.. kaaz .. but yeah thats normally for b series box .. i wanna get one for my d series...

    OBX...not bad...cheap but good. Someone is selling it locally though on ebay.com.au

    Before installing this, you might want to open it up and machine the internal splines so the shafts don't get stuck.

    I machined the splines and changed the bolts holding the unit together to better ones.

    from what I've heard the splines issue has been taken care of

    other than that, the obx units are great for the price, but definetely check to make sure everything is tightened, etc, before installing...

    it's basically the same as the quaiffe unit in function...

    isnt there any other brands for lsd for d series besides obx ??

    the oem one is for jap spec vti .. does it fit aussie vti ??

    Yes, the Jap D15B VTEC LSD unit fits all D series gearboxes, finding one at a wreckers/importer is a bit hard as most of asia keeps them for D series turbo conversions

    Quaife might have one. I'll have to look at the book when I get to work. If they do, I know retail on them is about $1kUSD but I get them for a little less. I think they are well worth it though.

    yes, quaife makes one...

    the obx one copies it(they are almost identical), does everything exactly the same, etc for a fraction of the cost
