    EG Tow Hook Install

Disclaimer: The following is provided as a GUIDE ONLY, and neither myself nor Ozhonda take any responsibility for the outcomes of someone else doing the following. You follow these steps at your own risk!

    Aim: Install Some Tow Hooks
Required: socket set, allen key and phillips head screw driver
    Steps:

First, you need to remove the front bar. Easily done but removing the few phillips head screws on the top of the bar, 2x 8mm bolts underneath, and two more screws in the wheel well. These are marked in red in the pic. You then need to locate your factory tow hooks.

Choose which side u want your New hook to stick out from and remove the factory hook. These hide behing the radiator and are acessed from underneath, (you may need to remove some of the screws from the plastic guard underneath the radiator for easier acces.. few screws). This is my factory one on the drivers side. As viewed from infront of the radiator

This is the same hook from underneath, notice the screw u may need to remove to move the plastic outta the way for better access to the hook.

Then remove the three bolts to remove the hook.
Notice hot the Stock hooks holes line up with the ones fron trav (Top blue thing)

    Mine:

    Travs:

Now, attatch the hook to its mount unsing the four allen head screws provided (stick the longer orange thing to the bigger blue thing, note above pic for what im talking about)

Now, get under the car again and stick the new hook where the old ones were, using the orriginal bolts

When done, should look something like this:

    Now For the rear:

Now locate you rear tow hook (small loop in the middle under your rear bar.)

Now Get the rear hook (smaller one) and line up the small hole in it with the loop.

Now put the bolt through the hook and loop.

Not put the small blue piece on the other side and tighted the nut on.

    Should look likte this:

    Haha funny u mention that...
Cos if u look closely, ill notice this next to my car:

Early model, non-running nissan turbo, N12 pular ET Turbo to be exact

(Yes sometimes its on the left of my car and sometime the right, coz i took the pics over 2 days, once putting the hook on, then taking it back off, as i broke it in an accident, yes it saved my front bar. $60 = cheap insurance)
