    3rd gen civic engine swap

    how hard is it to but a 'D' series engine in to a 3rd gen civic (83~86) is it a straight in and out swap, tried to search but couldnt fiond what i was looking for

    most d-series arent straight bolt in, though they say the old zc (dohc d16a) that came out of the 86 integra sx16 does.

    theres a 86 teg in the trading post for 400
    its at Five Dock
    i was thinking about getting it for parts to swap over but i dont have the garage room anymore

    edit: not exactly in/out swap
    have to convert carby to EFI

    ive converted my civic to a engine from a teg. Its noe very hard at all, pretty much bolts straight in. I dont know of any other one that will go in with out some custom work tho. And converting to FI isnt too hard.

    Incomeing: Definatly buy it, there are soo many things to swap over, brakes engine, swaybars.
